The Finnish companies Staselog Ltd and Atostek Ltd are now offering complete system solutions for broadband operators. The solution is based on Staselog's bandwidth management technology which is integrated to the operators' system. Thus the operators can improve their briadband services.

By means of Staselog's advanced technology, the operators are able to cut cost and improve their quality of service. The subscribers' connection rates can be increased up to the technical Full Rate, i.e. 100-fold faster than previously. There is no need to limit any traffic including peer-to-peer traffic, such as Skype. Each subscriber can get guaranteed bandwidth. In addition to this, subscriber specific interactive service is enabled and the subscription can be optimised according to the usage profile.

Atostek Ltd is a consulting expert company for innovative software and information system design. Atostek integrates the bandwidth management to the operator's exisiting system and implement the new system features. This includes technical improvements, such as the upstream channel optimization in cable networks, and the service improvements, such as subscriber specific service levek agreement or billing according to the usage. Despite the improved broadband service, the cut can be cost due to automatisation and self-service.
