Staselog will use Sun Fire X2200 servers for Staselog Network Equalizer products.
-Sun makes extremely stable and powerful servers and our customers demand the best, says Jarkko Niittylahti, the managing director of Staselog. -There are plenty of hot-swap parts and the hard disk is a raid double, so there is plenty of back up. The throughput is now much higher than previously.
According to Staselog's measurements, the throughput is sufficient for all Gigabit Ethernet applications. The next generation for 10 Gbps networking is under development.
